Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform MRP analysis to align customer demand with supplier capacity and lead times.
• Develop and manage material plans based on forecasts and purchase orders.
• Monitor stock levels, in-transit inventory, and shipping schedules to identify shortages.
• Maintain accurate system data to support real-time decision-making.
• Generate shortage reports, material arrival reports, and escalation reports.
• Manage inventory levels and classification (ABC analysis).
• Liaise with suppliers to manage deliveries, lead times, and performance issues.
• Coordinate logistics planning with freight forwarders and internal teams.
• Review non-standard orders and confirm delivery feasibility.
• Track returnable packaging and manage stock movements.
• Manage excess and non-moving inventory.
• Communicate material-related delivery changes to customers.

This role is responsible for ensuring materials are available to meet customer demand while optimising inventory and supplier performance. The role is primarily office-based, with regular interaction across warehouse and production operations.
