Job summary

Blackbook Executive Pty is seeking a Supply & Demand Planner in Brisbane, Australia. The role focuses on inventory management, materials planning and ensuring stock aligns with production and customer needs in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers, maintain stock accuracy, optimise MRP activities and support continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply planning, materials planning or inventory control.
• FMCG, food manufacturing or fast-paced environment preferred.
• SAP and ERP/MRP systems knowledge is essential.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyse inventory data.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels and stock accuracy, including cycle counts.
• Review MRP requirements and coordinate supply to meet demand.
• Plan and purchase raw materials, packaging and production components.
• Raise and track purchase orders with suppliers and monitor delivery timelines.
• Coordinate interstate freight and support on-time delivery.
• Analyse inventory and freight costs and identify efficiency gains.
• Maintain accurate ERP data, reporting and supply chain documentation.

SAP experience is essential, along with a background in FMCG, food manufacturing or a similar fast-paced environment.

The Company

Our client is a well-established FMCG business with a strong presence in the Australian market. With a focus on quality, operational efficiency and continuous improvement, they are looking for a Supply & Demand Planner.

The Role

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating supply and materials planning, and ensuring stock is available to meet operational and customer requirements. Working closely with internal teams and suppliers, you will play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy, supporting production requirements and improving supply chain efficiency.

• Managing inventory levels, stock accuracy, cycle counts and regular stocktakes.
• Reviewing MRP requirements and coordinating supply to meet customer demand.
• Planning and purchasing raw materials, packaging and production components.
• Raising and tracking purchase orders and following up with suppliers on delivery timelines.
• Coordinating interstate freight movements and supporting on-time delivery.
• Analysing inventory and freight costs, identifying opportunities for process improvement and greater efficiency.
• Maintaining accurate ERP data, reporting and supply chain documentation.

Your Background

• Previous experience in supply planning, materials planning, inventory control or a similar supply chain role.
• Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems, with SAP experience highly regarded.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyse inventory and planning data.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confident communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
