Job summary

Viva Energy Group in Melbourne is seeking a data analytics professional to support the national distribution network. You will analyse DC performance, validate 3PL invoices, and deliver insights to optimise costs and operational efficiency across the supply chain.

Responsibilities include DIFOT reporting, master data integrity, and collaboration with Finance, Supply Planning, and Contract Managers. Strong Excel and Power BI skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
• Experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution reporting environments.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage and interpret large data sets.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities and contribute to business cases.
• Self-motivated with strong time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with systems such as Blue Yonder (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely reporting on DC performance, including DIFOT and cost-to-serve metrics
• Analysis and validation of 3PL warehouse and distribution invoices against contracted rates
• Insights and recommendations to identify cost reduction and optimisation opportunities
• Tracking and reporting of key metrics including pick accuracy, temperature compliance, and delivery performance
• Support to Contract Managers through reporting, meeting coordination, and action tracking
• Collaboration with Finance, Accounts Payable, and Supply Planning teams to ensure operational efficiency
• Maintenance of master data integrity and resolution of supply chain system issues
