Job summary

Tomago Aluminium is seeking a capable supervisor to lead a production crew in a heavy industrial environment. You will focus on safe operations, production reliability and continuous improvement, reporting to the Superintendent.

You will coach and develop team members, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure adherence to procedures and values across the operation.

Qualifications

• A strong commitment to Environment, Health & Safety
• Confident communication and the ability to collaborate at all levels
• Experience leading teams in a production or industrial setting
• Solid planning, organising and decision‑making skills
• A customer‑focused mindset and commitment to quality and continuous improvement
• Competence using Microsoft Office and SAP
• Certificate IV in Frontline Leadership (desirable)

About the Role

We’re looking for a capable and hands‑on Supervisor to lead one of our crews. Reporting to the Superintendent, you’ll be responsible for day‑to‑day team leadership with a strong focus on safe operations, production reliability and continuous improvement. Your leadership will help ensure our teams deliver on production, quality, and safety targets.

• Ensure all production activities meet safety requirements, standards and procedures
• Promote safe behaviours
• Coach and develop team members to build capability, accountability and a high‑performing culture
• Identify improvement opportunities and supporting teams to streamline systems and processes
• Communicate clearly with key stakeholders across the operation
• Uphold Tomago Aluminium’s operating procedures and values
