Job summary

Repair Rebuild is seeking an experienced Repair Supervisor or a trade-qualified Carpenter transitioning into a Supervisor role to lead our building repair operations in South-East Queensland. This role focuses on coordinating and overseeing the repair journey for insurance clients, particularly servicing Ipswich and South Brisbane.

The successful candidate will manage subcontractors, maintain strong relationships with suppliers, policyholders and clients, and communicate clearly across teams.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification required (Carpentry).
• QBCC Contractor / Supervisor Licence or willingness to obtain.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrates high level of organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and supervising subcontractors throughout the repair process to ensure works are high quality and compliant with code/WHS.
• Building and maintaining key sub-contractor relationships.
• Communicating effectively with policyholders, trades, clients and staff to maintain high-quality customer experience.
• Using computer systems to oversee operations efficiently.
• Handling dispute and issue resolution as required.

Repair Rebuild are a specialised insurance building repair company, delivering the highest standard of service in managing insurance assessments and building repairs for our insurance clients. Based on the Gold Coast and covering areas from Northern NSW, North Brisbane and Sunshine Coast, Repair Rebuild are expanding and due to continued growth year on year, an opportunity is available for an experienced and customer focused Supervisor to be part of our journey and join our team.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Repair Supervisor or trade qualified Carpenter looking to transition into a Repair Supervisor position to join our growing team in South-East Queensland. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the entire building repair process. The supervisor is the face of our business to the policyholder, and it is vital that we not only maintain our reputation for excellent client and customer service but aim to continually exceed all expectations. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Mainly servicing the Ipswich, South Brisbane areas.

The Repair Supervisor is responsible for:

Scheduling and supervising subcontractors throughout the repair process ensuring that works are completed to a high standard, to code and adhering to all WH&S requirements.

Building and maintaining key sub-contractor relationships.

Communicating effectively with the policyholders, trades, clients, and our staff to maintain our high-quality customer and client experience.

Working effectively with our computer systems to easily oversee operations.

Dispute and issue resolution as required.

About you

Trade qualification required (Carpentry – highly regarded)

Valid QBCC Contractor / Supervisor License or a willingness to obtain a licence.

High level of interpersonal, communication and management skills.

Current and valid driver’s license.

Demonstrates a high level of organizational and problem-solving skills.
