Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor or Foreman to join a Canberra-based Tier 2 commercial builder.

You will work with the Project Manager to supervise subcontractors, manage day-to-day site operations, and ensure work aligns with plans, specs, and schedule.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial construction, strong WHS knowledge, and a hands-on approach; ACT experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in commercial construction
• Experience as Site Supervisor/Foreman on smaller projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong subcontractor and trade management
• Excellent understanding of WHS requirements
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach to site management
• ACT construction experience would be advantageous

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman or Leading Hand or Site Manager on smaller projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong subcontractor and trade management skills
• Excellent understanding of WHS requirements
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach to site management
• Relevant construction qualifications and White Card
• ACT construction experience would be advantageous
