Job summary

Westgold Resources is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Supervisor to manage fixed plant maintenance, plan and lead the maintenance team, and ensure detailed CMMS records are kept for every asset. You will drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the Higginsville operation.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, a trade qualification, and strong knowledge of processing plants and CER processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role leading a fixed plant maintenance team.
• Trade qualification and current driver’s licence.
• Experience with CMMS (Pronto) and capital expenditure processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify and diagnose plant maintenance items needing preventative maintenance or repair.
• Lead maintenance planning activities and the maintenance team.
• Report progress to Maintenance Superintendent on projects and daily activities.
• Maintain detailed maintenance history in the CMMS (Pronto).
• Promote a safety-focused, productive culture and mentor teams.
• Collaborate to develop efficient maintenance processes and liaise with contractors.

The ROLE

• Identify and diagnose items of the plant that require preventative maintenance or repair
• Actively manage maintenance planning activities and the maintenance team
• Report to the Maintenance Superintendent on the status of key projects and day to day activities
• Maintain detailed maintenance history in Pronto our computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)
• Play a key role as part of the management team in the implementation of a positive, safe and productive culture in the workplace
• Work collaboratively with your team to develop and maintain efficient and productive maintenance processes across the plant
• Actively promote a high level of safety awareness, lead by example
• Be visible and provide mentoring and leadership to your teams
• Actively promote a high level of safety awareness, lead from the front and by example
• Liaising with Contractors and Stakeholders as required

WHAT DO I NEED

• Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role effectively leading and managing a fixed plant maintenance team
• Relevant Trade Qualification
• Shut down planning and managing experience
• Sound working knowledge of processing plants – crushing, milling, gravity, leaching, and reagent circuits; and associated infrastructure
• Experience in submitting Capital Expenditure Requests (CER’s)
• Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desirable)
• Proficient Microsoft office skills
• Solid communication skills, with the ability to build strong, collaborative, and successful working relationships with your team
