Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a Senior Rental Sales Agent (Supervisor - Customer Service) in Cairns, Australia. You will lead a team of Rental Sales Agents, deliver superior service, and manage rental bookings at the counter.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a focus on customer excellence and operations leadership.

Qualifications

• Full and valid driver’s licence required.
• Full-time role with a rotational roster including weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, sales or similar roles preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures and company guidelines.
• Comfortable using computer systems to input rental information.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Rental Sales Agents and guide service delivery.
• Interact with customers at the rental counter and handle bookings and inquiries.
• Identify customer needs and suggest relevant add-ons and services.
• Communicate rental procedures clearly and efficiently.
• Ensure bookings are completed accurately and on time.

About the Role

The Senior Rental Sales Agent is the face of our brand! In this position you will interact with our customers at the rental counter, complete rental bookings and responding to general customer inquiries.

What you’ll do

• Establishing customer car rental needs by actively listening
• Assist with leadership duties
• Review in detail ABG’s various add on’s and services as to determine what may best suit the customer
• Communicate rental procedures and guidelines effectively
• Complete rental bookings in a timely, efficient and accurate manner
• Answering customer questions and inquiries

What we’re looking for

• Applicants must have a full and valid driver’s licence
• This is a full-time position and requires availability to work on a rotational roster that includes weekdays, weekends and public holidays
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivery exceptional customer service
• Previous experience within retail, hospitality, customer service, sales or similar roles
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards
• Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to accurately input rental information
