Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Cairns, QLD, is hiring a Senior Rental Sales Agent to lead a team of Rental Sales Agents and ensure superior service. You will interact with customers at the counter, complete bookings, and respond to inquiries to deliver a top-quality rental experience.

The role requires a full-time commitment on a rotational roster including weekends and public holidays, with opportunities to grow into a supervisory capacity and develop product knowledge across ABG’s add-ons and services.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have a full and valid driver’s licence.
• This is a full-time position and requires availability to work on a rotational roster that includes weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Previous experience within retail, hospitality, customer service, sales or similar roles.
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.
• Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to accurately input rental information.

Time to step up into a people leadership position? We have a Supervisor - Customer Service opportunity or what we call a Senior Rental Sales Agent to guide our team of Rental Sales Agents and ensure we are delivering a superior service and product to our customers.

About The Role

The Senior Rental Sales Agent is the face of our brand! In this position you will interact with our customers at the rental counter, complete rental bookings and responding to general customer inquiries.

What You’ll Do

• Establishing customer car rental needs by actively listening
• Assist with leadership duties
• Review in detail ABG’s various add on’s and services as to determine what may best suit the customer
• Communicate rental procedures and guidelines effectively
