Job summary

Freo Group Pty Ltd, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking a hands-on Supervisor to lead daily site operations in our lifting and rigging projects across Australia.

You will coordinate labour, plant, and subcontractors, promote safety, and drive continuous improvement while delivering high-quality outcomes for our Tier 1 clients in mining, oil & gas, and infrastructure.

This leadership role requires strong decision-making, excellent communication, and a commitment to a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or equivalent experience in crane hire, construction, mining or heavy industry.
• RI High Risk Work Licence and additional relevant licences encouraged.
• Section 26 (WA) or Queensland Coal Mining Supervisor competencies where required.
• Proven experience supervising operational teams, contractors and subcontractors.
• Strong lifting operations, plant, rigging knowledge and safety compliance.

• Lead and supervise daily site operations safely and to high quality standards.
• Coordinate labour, plant, equipment, rigging and subcontractors to meet objectives.
• Promote proactive safety culture through pre-starts, toolbox talks and risk assessments.
• Ensure lifting activities and operations comply with legislation and client specs.
• Provide coaching and support to teams to build capability and performance.
• Oversee planning, mobilisation/demobilisation and incident reporting.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement for safety, productivity and service quality.
