Job summary

Freo Group Pty Ltd is seeking Intermediate and Experienced Riggers to join our lifting and crane teams on major Australian projects across Mining, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and Renewables. You’ll bring a current RI, RA or RB High Risk Work Licence, at least six months’ rigging experience, and a safety-first mindset.

You’ll work with crane operators and crews to follow lift plans, complete pre-start checks and help deliver safe, efficient lifts on site.

Qualifications

• Current RI, RA or RB High Risk Work Licence is required.
• At least six months’ rigging experience.
• Strong commitment to safety with no shortcuts.
• Ability to follow lift plans, communicate clearly and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support safe, efficient crane and lifting operations across major projects.
• Carry out rigging activities within your qualifications, competencies and experience.
• Work alongside crane operators and crew to prepare and execute lifts.
• Follow lift plans, site procedures and safety requirements.
• Complete pre-start checks and maintain equipment.
• Look out for your crew and ensure everyone returns home safely.
