Job summary

Coastal Digestive Health on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to lead our reception and administration team, ensuring a welcoming and efficient patient journey from first contact to completion of care.

You will oversee front office operations, Medicare and billing processes, and work closely with doctors, nurses and management to improve systems, schedule rosters, recruit and train staff, and foster a high-performing, patient-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a medical reception or specialist practice.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
• Calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using medical practice software (Genie highly regarded).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the administration team.
• Coordinate workflows and rosters.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and staff training.
• Oversee reception operations and patient flow across multiple specialists.
• Manage Medicare, private health and billing processes.
• Collaborate with clinical, nursing and management teams.
• Ensure exceptional customer service for patients and visitors.
