Job summary

Davies Ross Consulting Pty Ltd – Mascot NSW is seeking a capable Site Manager to deliver a high‑profile 50M commercial office new build in Mascot. You will report to a Site Manager with a General Foreman and Engineers to ensure quality delivery across an 8-level + 2-basement structure.

You should bring a trade background (or a relevant degree) and at least 3 years post-qualification experience in Sydney’s construction market.

You will initially be delivering a $50M new build commercial project in Mascot across 7 levels working under a proven Site Manager & General Foreman on rotated Saturdays

The Role & Company

Led by proven Directors in the commercial Tier 2 space who are extremely well connected, you will be working on new build projects ranging in value from $30M - $150M. All projects are within the CBD fringe, resourced correctly and focused on delivering repeat business in the private sector, typically with Blue Chip clients. The business has a mantra of 'build it once, build it right' and they rely on their staff being positive team players who love what they do.

Your first project will be a $50M commercial office new build in Mascot. Reporting to an experienced Site Manager with a General Foreman, Finishes Foreman, Project & Site Engineer responsible for the quality delivery of this 8-level + 2-basement level build, the job is resourced well with long-termers within the business. You will be exposed to all facets of the construction process from trade management & materials handling, to EHS&Q Management as the business looks to develop all-rounders capable of becoming Site Managers in their own right in future. You can expect to work on rotated Saturdays and the right Candidate is someone who is prepared to listen, learn quickly and work hard to get ahead in their career.

The business is led front and centre by 2 Directors. They are extremely well connected in the Sydney property market and are not driven by dollars and growth. They have built their reputation by delivering projects based on Safety, Quality and then Programme - In that order. They don't win their work because they are the cheapest, they win it because clients trust them to deliver a quality product on time with minimal defects.

Qualifications & Experience

You will ideally come from a Trade background however if you have a degree and have been working in delivery for a few years, no problem

You will have worked on new build construction projects that include basement levels and at least 3 storey structures (resi or commercial are fine). Ideally, you will have 3 years post-qualification experience in Sydney's construction market
