Viva Leisure seeks a Studio Manager to lead our newly reopened Club Pilates studio in Hamilton North. You’ll drive member growth, oversee daily operations, and build a high‑performing team from day one.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong knowledge of and passion for the Fitness Industry.
• Experience in sales and customer service, ideally within fitness or retail.
• Demonstrated people management and team leadership experience.
• Proven sales aptitude with a results-driven mindset and targets.
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills to engage team and clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Drive new member sign-ups and renewals; implement strategies to boost retention.
• Ensure high-quality service; promptly handle complaints and feedback.
• Maintain operational standards; manage club administration, auditing and organisation.
• Ensure health and safety compliance for all activities and facilities.
• Recruit, train, schedule and manage in-club staff; sustain high morale.
• Plan local marketing, community events and promotions to attract members.
• Oversee scheduling of fitness programs and classes aligned to member needs.

Viva Leisure,Australia's largest independent health club operator, is lookingfor an experienced and passionate Studio Manager to lead our newlyreopened Club Pilates studio in Hamilton North - the finalRebalance studio in our network to complete its transformation intoClub Pilates.

Club Pilates is powered by Boutique Fitness Studios (BFS), theofficial Australian and New Zealand master franchisee for thebrand. Viva Leisure holds a strategic equity stake in BFS, givingour studios direct access to global Club Pilates programming,systems, and brand recognition - backed by the operational muscleof Australia's largest independent health club group.

As Studio Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day running of thestudio, creating a standout experience for every member whiledriving membership growth, operational excellence, and commercialperformance. You'll build a welcoming, inclusive culture from theground up - one where members feel inspired, supported, andmotivated to hit their wellness goals.

Leading from the front, you'll coach, mentor, and grow ahigh-performing team, creating an environment where people areempowered to deliver exceptional service. You'll also own studioadministration, scheduling, reporting, and day-to-day operationalpriorities, setting the studio up to perform at its best from thevery start.

SKILLS &QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with:

• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness toobtain)
• Strong knowledge of and a passion for the FitnessIndustry
• Experience in sales and customer service, ideally withinthe fitness or retail sectors
• Demonstrated people management and team leadershipexperience
• Previous experience in a similar role (desirable)
• Proven sales aptitude with a results-driven mindset andability to meet targets
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with apassion for engaging both team members and clients tostrengthen the brand. Skilled in supporting diverse tasks andmentoring future leaders to help them achieve peakperformance
• Proven ability to drive operational excellence throughstrong organisational and formal operational skills. Capable ofmanaging multiple priorities effectively, with a proactivemindset, eagerness to learn, and agility in adapting toevolving business needs
• Ability to be a role model and live our Viva values, andbehaviours while being passionate about our brands. You willdemonstrate professionalism, respect, courtesy and support
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word,Excel, Outlook)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive new member sign-ups, manage renewals, and implementstrategies to enhance member satisfaction and retention
• Ensure all members and guests receive high-quality service;handle complaints and feedback promptly and professionally
• Maintain high standard of operational procedures. Manageadministration, auditing and organisation of the club, ensuringall areas are clean, safe, and fully operational
• Ensure all activities, equipment, and facilities complywith health and safety regulations and industry standards
• Recruit, train, schedule and manage in club staff; ensurehigh team performance and morale
• Plan and execute local marketing campaigns, communityengagement events, and promotions to increase visibility andattract new members
• Oversee the development and scheduling of fitness programsand classes, ensuring they meet member needs and industrytrends
