Job summary

Viva Leisure is seeking a proactive Club Manager for our Millner club, to lead a team, grow memberships, and deliver exceptional member experiences. You will drive operational excellence, develop staff, and execute local marketing to expand community engagement.

In a fast-paced fitness environment, you will role-model Viva values, maintain safety and quality standards, and ensure smooth daily operations while delivering strong commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain).
• Strong knowledge of and passion for the Fitness Industry.
• Experience in sales and customer service, ideally in fitness or retail.
• Demonstrated people management and team leadership experience.
• Proven sales aptitude with a results-driven mindset and ability to meet targets.
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills with ability to engage team members and clients to strengthen the brand.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Drive new member sign-ups, manage renewals and strategies to enhance member satisfaction and retention.
• Ensure high-quality service to all members and guests; handle complaints promptly.
• Maintain high standards of operational procedures; manage club administration and audits.
• Ensure activities, equipment, and facilities comply with health and safety regulations.
• Recruit, train, schedule and manage in-club staff; maintain high team performance.
• Plan and execute local marketing campaigns, community events and promotions.
• Oversee development and scheduling of fitness programs and classes to meet member needs.

SKILLS &QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with:

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

• Recruit, train, schedule and manage in club staff; ensure high team performance and morale
• Plan and execute local marketing campaigns, community engagement events, and promotions to increase visibility and attract new members
• Oversee the development and scheduling of fitness programs and classes, ensuring they meet member needs and industry trends
