Job summary

David Scott School in Frankston seeks a Head of Wellbeing and Engagement to lead schoolwide wellbeing initiatives and engagement programs. You will work with the Principal and stakeholders to implement evidence-informed wellbeing strategies across the school.

The role focuses on strategic and operational leadership of student wellbeing, ensuring conditions for student success and strong relationships with staff, families, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor qualification in a relevant field such as Psychology, Social Work or Education with Wellbeing specialization.
• Hold or be willing to obtain full registration with the relevant professional body.
• Experience in educational leadership delivering flexible, innovative wellbeing programs.
• Ability to build and supervise a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to undertake educational and wellbeing assessments and develop student support plans.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a schoolwide, student-centred wellbeing and engagement strategy.
• Deliver dynamic wellbeing and engagement programs aligned with the school vision.
• Provide data and reports to the Principal and School Board.
• Develop and review wellbeing policies and practices for consistency and safety.
