Job summary

Swan Christian Education Association Inc. is seeking a Student Services Officer for Northshore Christian Grammar School in Alkimos. This part-time, permanent position runs 43 weeks per year at 37.5 hours weekly (0.9042 FTE) with 9 weeks of paid leave, commencing 12 October 2026 or negotiable.

Qualifications

• To have appropriate qualifications in the advertised area –TAFE/Business College.
• Experience in a school office environment.
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and TASS.
• First Aid Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for students, providing support and guidance throughout the school day.
• Manage student records, attendance administration and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide first aid support, administer medication and maintain accurate student medical records and wellbeing information.
• Support effective communication by responding to enquiries and preparing student-related correspondence.
• Provide administrative support through record management, documentation processing and assisting in event coordination.
• Manage student information confidentially and in accordance with school policies and legislative requirements.
• Demonstrates a personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and is an active member of a Christian Church, living in accordance with the Association’s Statement of Faith.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
• High level of IT literacy.
• Ability to collaborate with co-workers and the community.
• A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC), and Department of Education Criminal History Clearance, or willingness to apply.
