Job summary

Swan Christian Education Association Inc. is seeking a dedicated Grounds and Maintenance Support Officer for a part-time (0.6 FTE) role at Beechboro, commencing 19 October 2026 or as negotiated.

The successful applicant will manage grounds upkeep, facilities maintenance, and event setup to create a safe, welcoming environment for students and staff. The role requires a committed Christian faith, strong attention to detail and a team-oriented approach within a faith-based school community.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate a committed Christian faith by actively supporting the College’s Christian life and aligning with the Association’s Statement of Faith, Christian Lifestyle Statement, and educational objectives.
• Strong attention to detail in all work performed.
• Commitment to Work Health and Safety compliance.
• Follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team and the wider school community.
• Holds a current Working with Children card, and Department of Education Criminal History Check, or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining school grounds, including gardens, lawns, playgrounds, and outdoor learning spaces.
• Undertaking routine maintenance tasks across buildings and facilities.
• Identifying and reporting maintenance issues or hazards.
• Assisting with set-up and pack-down for school events and activities.
• Supporting the upkeep of furniture, equipment, and outdoor areas.
