Job summary

Seek Education seeks an Internal Recruitment Consultant – Student Placements to connect students with mandatory practical work placements across multiple disciplines. You will build and maintain relationships with employers and industry partners, coordinate with Australian teams and global support, and drive placement targets while ensuring compliant, high-quality opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, business development or employer engagement is required.
• Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships with employers and external stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency using CRM systems and MS Office for outreach and administration.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, contact and engage employers and industry organisations to secure mandatory practical placement opportunities for students.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with host employers across diverse vocational disciplines.
• Coordinate employer outreach through calls, emails, networking and referrals.
• Promote benefits of hosting students and explain placement requirements to employers.
• Build a network of host organisations to support current and future placements.
• Source and secure practical placements aligned with students' qualifications and course requirements.
• Coordinate with students, employers, trainers and internal teams to facilitate timely placements.
• Ensure host organisations meet practical training and placement requirements before placements are confirmed.
• Achieve placement targets and employer engagement KPIs.
• Collaborate with Australian-based training, administration and compliance teams.
