Job summary

Arc @ UNSW is seeking a Student Officer to lead a team of passionate volunteers and drive meaningful, fun fundraising activities for Phil’ in 2027. You’ll collaborate with clubs, local businesses, and the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation to keep the cause at the heart of Phil’.

Ideal candidates are UNSW students in 2027 with excellent communication skills, creativity, and experience in engaging peers online and in person. The role offers flexible hours and a casual hourly rate of $35.68.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills; verbal, written and public speaking.
• Ability to inspire and motivate others and engage volunteers online and in person.
• Strong time management and organisational skills; meet deadlines under pressure.
• Experience engaging student participants and volunteers across events.
• Creative, fun-focused approach to fundraising and events.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of volunteers and drive the Phil’ program activities.
• Collaborate with clubs, colleges, local businesses, and hospital foundation partners.
• Develop and run creative fundraising events and initiatives with volunteers.
• Coordinate event logistics, volunteers rosters, run sheets, and budgets.
• Maintain content across online platforms to engage the UNSW community.
