Job summary

The University of Western Australia is seeking a dedicated Student Engagement and Belonging Coordinator to advance orientation, transition and belonging initiatives. You will collaborate with students, the Student Guild and college services to design inclusive programs that support commencing and equity groups.

In this full-time role, you will coordinate evidence-based engagement activities, lead student volunteers, and build strong stakeholder relationships to enhance the student journey across

Qualifications

• Proven experience in student engagement, event coordination, communications, stakeholder engagement or a related field.
• Strong understanding of transitions into university for diverse and non-traditional backgrounds.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver evidence-based student engagement programs that foster connection, inclusion and belonging.
• Lead student volunteers, supporting the design, delivery and continuous improvement of peer-led initiatives.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across the University, Student Guild and College Services to enhance the experience of commencing, international and equity group students.
