Job summary

Department of Education, Western Australia is seeking to establish a pool of Participation Coordinators for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies that may arise during 2026 and up to the end of October 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies commencing during this period.

Role involves case coordination, transition brokerage and outreach to support at-risk secondary students, helping them access education, training or employment pathways across the South

Qualifications

Be Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.
Hold a current Working with Children Check.
Hold a current 'C' class driver's licence.
Willingness to travel, including overnight stays in non-metropolitan locations.

Responsibilities

Provide case coordination and transition brokerage for secondary school-aged students.
Deliver face-to-face outreach to early school leavers or at-risk students.
Develop individual pathway plans to support transitions into education, training or employment.
Collaborate with schools, trainers, support agencies and industry to explore pathways.
