Job summary

The University of Western Australia (UWA) invites applications for a Manager, Student Engagement. Lead a high‑performing team delivering engagement, peer mentoring and student voice initiatives to strengthen belonging and student success.

You will drive onboarding and orientation programs, using student insights and partnerships to continuously improve outcomes, and provide strategic advice across the University while ensuring resources are used effectively.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading high‑performing teams in student engagement or related areas.
• Strong track record designing and evaluating large‑scale student programs with measurable outcomes.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and partner across university areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high‑performing Student Engagement team delivering engagement, peer mentoring, leadership and student voice initiatives.
• Drive onboarding, orientation and communication programs using student insights and data to improve outcomes.
• Provide strategic advice, build stakeholder relationships and oversee governance to maximise impact.
