Buildfix Group is expanding in Melbourne and seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer for inspections and repair design. You will diagnose structural issues on residential properties and develop practical, cost-effective repair solutions, working autonomously with Buildfix’s team to deliver results.

Travel across Melbourne and occasional interstate travel are involved. You will join a close-knit team, using our advanced mobile software to schedule inspections and manage client relations, while

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and membership of Engineers Australia.
• Strong practical knowledge of building construction, structural movement and defects.
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly and propose repair solutions.
• Self-motivated with initiative and problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication to manage customers, trades and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Inspect residential properties to diagnose structural issues and propose non-invasive repair options.
• Explain repair methods, benefits and costs to customers; build trust and close proposals.
• Work autonomously with Buildfix trades to implement solutions and demonstrate results.
• Collaborate with a close-knit team to share knowledge and drive best practices.
