Swinburne University of Technology invites an experienced Strategy Manager to join Strategy & Performance. You will partner with senior leaders to tackle complex challenges and drive transformative outcomes, from problem definition to recommendation and implementation, shaping Ad Astra initiatives and university-wide planning.
The role offers autonomy to develop business cases, operating models and governance structures, and to act as a trusted advisor to sponsors and portfolio leaders

As Strategy Manager, you'll join Strategy & Performance, the University's internal strategy and advisory function, partnering with senior leaders to tackle complex challenges and drive some of Swinburne's most significant strategic, commercial and transformation priorities. Your work will directly support executive decision-making, delivering the insight, analysis and strategic advice needed to translate ambitious goals into meaningful outcomes.
Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you'll lead high-impact strategic engagements from problem definition through to recommendation and implementation. From developing business cases and operating models to shaping major initiatives across the Ad Astra portfolio and broader University agenda, you'll provide trusted advice to senior stakeholders, navigate ambiguity with confidence, and deliver strategic insights that drive impactful decisions and meaningful outcomes across the University.
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
Completion of a bachelor’s degree with extensive relevant executive administration experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
