AGL Energy is seeking a Strategy Analyst to shape performance and future direction of its Commercial & Industrial portfolio. You’ll deliver strategic, commercial and financial analysis, translating data into insights to inform decisions and growth opportunities.

You’ll build market intelligence, develop strategic priorities with stakeholders, and deliver robust financial models and business cases to support investments and potential M&A. Hybrid and on-site work options available.

Formación

• A relevant tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, economics, commerce, business, engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience in financial modelling, forecasting, scenario and sensitivity analysis, and business case development.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience presenting insights to senior leaders.
• Experience in the energy sector or a B2B environment is highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Build market and competitive intelligence from customer insights, indicators and trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Translate insights into strategy, defining priorities, target segments and growth recommendations with stakeholders.
• Deliver commercial and financial analysis, develop business cases, models, forecasts and scenarios for decisions.
• Monitor and communicate performance with quarterly and annual reporting and key drivers.
• Influence strategic decision‑making with clear recommendations and materials for leadership and Board.
