Job summary

AGL is seeking a Commercial Advisor to broaden your career beyond pure legal contracting into strategic commercial leadership at Australia’s energy transition center. Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in law or business with experience in commercial contracting, negotiation, or advisory work.
• Strong analytical capability balancing commercial value, risk and strategy.
• Excellent written communication and ability to translate complex concepts into actionable advice.

Responsibilities

• Support, and over time lead, negotiations with C&I customers and suppliers.
• Draft and interpret commercial agreements balancing risk and value.
• Improve commercial processes using market insights and AI-enabled tools.
• Collaborate with Legal, Sales, Engineering, Delivery and Finance for pragmatic advisory.
• Draft, review and execute agreements, tenders, and commercial communications with accuracy.
