Job summary

Chandler Macleod is partnering with a Federal Government agency to recruit an experienced Enterprise Workforce Planning Analyst. The role focuses on data analysis, reporting and forecasting to support enterprise-wide workforce planning and informed decision-making.

You will manage workforce, financial and operational data, identify trends and risks, and work with senior leaders to model scenarios and costs.

Qualifications

• Experience collecting, consolidating, cleansing and validating complex datasets from multiple sources.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data, identify trends and risks.
• Experience producing clear reports, dashboards, visualisations or summaries.
• Excel skills with Power BI experience highly regarded.
• Ability to translate complex data for senior stakeholders.
• Experience with forecasting and scenario modelling for workforce planning.
• Strong stakeholder engagement across business areas and data owners.
• Ability to work autonomously in a complex environment.
• Understanding of data governance and confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the collection, validation, reconciliation and analysis of workforce, financial and operational data from multiple sources.
• Maintain workforce planning datasets, data definitions and source mappings for data consistency.
• Analyse workforce demand and supply, vacancies, recruitment activity and costs to identify trends and risks.
• Investigate data discrepancies and resolve issues with stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver reports, visualisations and insights for monthly planning reporting.
• Support forecasting and scenario modelling by testing assumptions and documenting methods.
• Build relationships with Finance, People and Culture and other stakeholders.
• Translate complex workforce information into practical insights for strategic decisions.
• Manage competing priorities and deliver outputs within timeframes.
