Job summary

Service Stream Maintenance Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking a Performance and Forecasting Planner to coordinate operational performance and customer experience within Operational Support Services. The role is a permanent full-time position based in Melbourne, reporting to Senior Planner.

You will schedule the workforce, analyse data, assess skills gaps, onboard technicians, and drive forecasting accuracy using Power BI and other analytics tools.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and scheduling activities within a fast-paced workforce environment.
• Experience implementing process improvements.
• Experience forecasting, analyzing data and reporting using Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Schedule the workforce in line with client forecasts in relevant databases with required compliance documents.
• Analyse historical data, trends and operational requirements to develop accurate workforce forecasts.
• Assess SSL contract and technicians' skills and identify gaps; develop strategies to bridge gaps.
• On board new technicians and recommend sourcing strategies; retain top sub-contractors.
• Collect and analyse workforce data, metrics and trends to generate insights for decision-making.
• Monitor workforce performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy and reporting processes.
• Implement best practices and leverage analytics tools to enhance forecasting capabilities.
