Job summary

Cognizant Australia seeks a Principal Consultant to bridge business and technical teams on Workday implementations in Sydney. You will guide clients through transformation, implementation, and operation phases, lead facilitated design sessions, and coordinate configuration decisions based on best practices and client requirements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of consulting experience.
• Workday Integration, Workday Studio and Workday CCTPPTM certification preferred.
• Project experience in a technical or techno-functional ERP implementation using SOA tools.
• Proficiency with web service technologies (REST, JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML).
• B.A./B.S. in MIS, Industrial Engineering, CS or related field preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Superior attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
• Outstanding Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Reinforces company policies and procedures to others.
• Lead tasks within a project workstream to drive completion and goals.
• Guide clients through design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices.
• Engage clients through all project phases, ensuring smooth transfer to Workday HCM.
• Manage multiple tasks with minimal direction and keep stakeholders updated.
• Take leadership on projects or as a Cognizant/Workday engagement lead.
• Demonstrate hands-on Workday knowledge, including data loading and configuration transfers.
• Convert and map data sources into conversion templates via iLoads.
• Mentor fellow consultants and analysts, support shadow assignments.
• Participate in update training and share knowledge within the organization.
