Job summary

Sydney Airport is seeking a hands-on Test Manager to ensure technology projects in our complex, critical environment are thoroughly tested and ready for business adoption before go-live. In our Project Assurance function, you will lead testing strategies, plans and governance, coordinate with Technology, Operations, Planning and Commercial teams, and drive quality across diverse projects.

You'll partner with stakeholders, manage defects, report readiness, and mentor teams to raise testing

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Test Management, Quality Assurance or Test Analysis within large and complex technology environments.
• Strong understanding of testing lifecycles, requirements traceability, governance frameworks and quality assurance practices.
• Proven ability to develop and execute test strategies, plans and scripts while managing competing priorities across multiple projects.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A collaborative leadership style with experience coaching or supporting team members to achieve high-quality outcomes.
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science or a related discipline. Exposure to operational technology, infrastructure or asset-intensive environments will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of testing strategies, plans and governance activities across a broad portfolio of technology projects.
• Manage end-to-end testing activities, including system, integration, regression and user acceptance testing, to ensure solutions meet business and operational requirements.
• Partner with business, technology and vendor stakeholders to validate requirements, identify risks, manage defects and support successful project outcomes.
• Provide clear reporting and evidence-based readiness assessments that support project governance and release decisions.
• Build strong relationships across the organisation, acting as a trusted advisor and connector between business and technical teams.
• Reform testing and provide business analyst support
