Job summary

Qantas invites a Quality Engineer to join our new Product Innovation Centre in Adelaide. You will design, automate, and execute testing strategies, collaborating with product owners, developers and business stakeholders to ensure software reliability, performance and security across digital experiences.

With 3+ years in Quality Engineering, hands-on automation testing across service integrations, and experience with Selenium, Karate, Postman and JUnit, you will drive testing frameworks, CI/CD

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, including hands-on automation testing across service integrations.
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with BDD, CI, Git, and cloud platforms such as AWS
• Ability to define and execute test strategies that validate end-to-end user journeys, data flows, and system integrations.
• Ability to implement automated test scripts for service integrations, with a focus on efficiency and repeatability.
• Proficiency with testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Karate, Postman, and JUnit
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, batch processing, ESB, and point-to-point integrations
• Experience conducting performance and load testing on integrated services to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills, with experience using tools such as Miro, Jira, and Confluence
