Job summary

IPD Group is an Australian-owned ASX-listed company specializing in electrical products, EV charging solutions, and high/low voltage projects. We are seeking a motivated Sales Development professional to own and grow the South Australia and Northern Territory territory by developing relationships with End Users, OEMs, Industrial Contractors and Utilities.

You will manage opportunities through a structured sales process, maintain a robust pipeline, and contribute to our continued business growth

Qualifications

• 3+ years' sales experience in Industrial Automation or Electrical industry.
• Engineering qualifications or technical background in Industrial Automation or Electrical sector a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to deliver clear written content and engaging presentations.
• Demonstrated expertise in applying structured and effective sales processes.
• Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies that generate a robust pipeline.
• Experience in consultative selling methodologies and value-based sales.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing targeted sales action plans aligned with state strategy to achieve individual and team sales, margin, and contribution targets.
• Building strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers across the territory.
• Maintaining strong technical and product knowledge, using CRM tools to qualify, manage, and close opportunities.
• Collaborating with local and national teams to optimise resources and contribute to sales and pipeline reviews.
• Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and activity plans through CRM.
• Conducting regular customer visits and staying connected to market opportunities.
• Representing IPD at industry events and gathering market insights.
