Job summary

Phoenix Contact Pty Ltd is seeking a proactive State Sales Manager to lead our South Australia sales operations from Tonsley. You will develop and execute a regional sales strategy, drive revenue growth and foster strong customer relationships with key accounts across the state.

You will lead a high-performing sales team, coach staff, monitor forecasts and work with product, marketing and operations to ensure alignment and successful product launches. Travel within SA will be required.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in sales management or senior sales roles, ideally in electrical/industrial sectors.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with experience building high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills; ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve state revenue targets and market share objectives.
• Lead, motivate and manage the sales team with coaching and performance management.
• Identify new business opportunities and pursue strategic accounts across South Australia.
• Manage the sales pipeline, forecast accuracy and take corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors and partners to enhance satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with product management, marketing and operations to launch new products.
