Job summary

Seqwater in Brisbane is seeking a Principal System Production Planning to lead system production planning across South East Queensland, balancing reliability, risk, cost and security through informed decisions on production, shutdowns and network reconfigurations.

Reporting to the General Manager System Performance, you will lead the Network Shutdown & Access and Production Modelling teams, drive planning across 30-day to 5-year horizons, and guide capital investment activity.

Responsibilities

• Lead system production planning across long planning horizons, integrating demand, supply and asset constraints.
• Own planning, sequencing and scheduling of shutdowns, balancing service risk and asset health.
• Provide expert advice on production, shutdown and system reconfiguration decisions.
• Lead hydraulic modelling and risk assessments to evaluate system impacts.
• Drive integration between production planning, service planning and capital delivery.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team with a strong safety culture.
• Translate business strategy into clear deliverables and participate in transformational initiatives.
• Lead risk management and governance for the business unit.
