Job summary

Seqwater is seeking a Principal System Production Planning professional to lead end-to-end planning across South East Queensland, balancing service reliability, risk and cost. You will head the Network Shutdown & Access and Production Modelling teams, delivering strategic direction and in-depth analysis to optimise water supply resilience.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Science, Operations Research or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in water system planning or complex infrastructure environments.
• Strong expertise in production planning and forecasting across planning horizons.

Responsibilities

• Lead system production planning across 30-day to 5-year horizons.
• Own planning, sequencing and scheduling of system shutdowns with risk considerations.
• Provide expert advice on production, shutdown and system reconfiguration decisions.
• Lead hydraulic modelling and risk assessments to inform decisions.
• Drive integration between planning, service planning and capital delivery.
