Job summary

Western Power is seeking a Stakeholder and Major Customer Relations Team Leader in Perth to lead the development and delivery of engagement strategies, strengthen relationships, and support our social licence to operate while minimizing business risk.

You will lead a team of engagement professionals, oversee the framework and key relationship plans, and provide strategic insights to inform planning and decision-making across the business.

Qualifications

• Proven people leadership with coaching and team development.
• Extensive stakeholder engagement and customer relations experience.
• Experience applying engagement approaches to large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Excellent relationship-building, influencing and senior stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication and active listening tailored to diverse audiences.
• Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing stakeholder engagement team.
• Oversee the stakeholder engagement framework and relationship strategy.
• Provide strategic advice on sentiment, risks and regional priorities.
• Manage external consultants, suppliers and engagement platforms.
