Job summary

Western Power is seeking a Project Manager for a full-time role at the Perth CBD Office. You will deliver projects meeting safety, cost, time, quality and scope targets, aligned with customer and stakeholder expectations.

You will lead teams, manage risks, report progress, and ensure governance using PMBOK/Prince2. This role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders and adherence to budgeting and schedules.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications or demonstrated experience in project delivery, engineering, construction or related field.
  • Industry accreditation in project management (RegPM / PMI).
  • Experience with PMBOK or Prince2.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders in writing and verbally.
  • Self-motivated with time management and prioritisation.
  • Working understanding of electrical network practices and standards.
  • Financial acumen to budget and forecast expenditure.
  • WA Driver’s Licence Class C or CA.

Responsibilities

  • Work with ambiguity in a dynamic environment; set priorities and targets.
  • Deliver projects in a compliant way to scope, time and cost while managing resources.
  • Actively manage project risks and issues to ensure delivery.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and motivate project teams.
  • Deliver projects to agreed scope, time and cost with safety and quality.
  • Execute projects according to Western Power’s Methodology, Standards and Governance.
  • Ensure project financials are managed, forecasted and reported.
  • Report project status proactively to stakeholders and Team Leader.
