Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to shape long-term commercial investments. Reporting to the Senior Strategic & Sourcing Manager, you will lead complex sourcing initiatives from strategy through to negotiation and contract execution, influencing enterprise-wide decisions and building the future procurement capability.

You’ll develop sourcing strategies, conduct market engagement activities and lead commercial evaluations and negotiations.

About the opportunity

As our Strategic Sourcing Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping how Australia Post makes long-term commercial investment decisions. Reporting to the Senior Strategic & Sourcing Manager andworking closely with senior business leaders, Legal, Finance and Procurement stakeholders, you'll lead complex sourcing initiatives from strategy through to negotiation and contract execution. This is an opportunity to influence enterprise-wide decisions, drive commercial value and help build the future procurement capability of Australia Post.

You’ll also

• Lead complex, high-value sourcing initiatives from strategy development through to contract execution.
• Develop sourcing strategies, conduct market engagement activities and lead commercial evaluations and negotiations.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to deliver commercially sound and strategically aligned outcomes
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, tools and ways of working while ensuring compliance with governance and procurement frameworks.

About you

You're a strategic thinker and trusted advisor who has sound experience working in large organisations and complex environments. You bring a proactive, hands-on approach and are equally comfortable developing sourcing strategies as you are rolling up your sleeves to deliver outcomes. You build credibility quickly, enjoy partnering with a diverse range of stakeholders, and can influence conversations at GM and Executive level. Most importantly, you're a collaborative team player who values inclusion, ownership and delivering meaningful business outcomes.
