Job summary

Anduril Industries in Sydney is seeking a Supplier Engineering Manager to drive strategic supply network development and cost management across product lifecycles. You will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and manufacturing to optimize value and reliability.

You will lead supplier selection, develop sourcing strategies, model TCO, and accelerate development through early engagement, joint design, and clear statements of work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BSME, BSEE) or related technical degree.
• Experience in value/procurement engineering or TCO analysis at component/product level.
• Background in designing or developing mechanical/electronic devices is preferred.
• Experience with high-tech, high-mix, low-volume environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier selection for a specific product from approved lists.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategy with market knowledge and supplier rationalisation.
• Lead BOM development with Quality & Manufacturing for ramped production.
• Manage NPI component procurement ensuring on-time, correct availability.
• Perform value-stream mapping to optimise lead times and flexibility.
• Converge cost engineering to maximize total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Handle ad-hoc cost issues including tariffs and cost inflation.
