The University of Sydney invites applications for a Senior Service Delivery Manager to lead streams within the Service Excellence Program. This fixed-term, full-time role offers strategic leadership, operational oversight, and the opportunity to shape service design and operating models at scale across the university.

You will guide cross-functional teams, partner with senior leaders, and drive continuous improvement, risk management, and seamless transitions.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Business, Operations, Strategy, Psychology or Change Management, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience with 3–5 years in management.
• Experience delivering operational delivery within a strategic transformation context.
• Experience applying design thinking and service design methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of defined program streams aligning with scope, timelines and quality.
• Champion service design to ensure alignment with target operating models.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams with autonomy in their assignments.
• Shape governance frameworks to match complexity and delivery needs.
• Partner with senior leaders to ensure program outcomes.
