Job summary

Sharp & Carter partners with a growing Australian food manufacturer in Melbourne’s South Eastern Suburbs to move planning from a short-term view to a structured, forward-looking S&OP process. This new role will connect supply, operations and commercial teams through a monthly cycle with leadership support.

The successful candidate will develop rolling forecasts, run the S&OP cycle, balance supply with demand, and build dashboards to highlight stock position, risks and opportunities for senior

Qualifications

• Experience in demand, supply or S&OP planning in food/FMCG environments.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP experience.
• Confident presenting to and influencing stakeholders.
• Able to drive change within teams and processes.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with fresh or variable supply is highly regarded.
• Genuine keenness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Develop a rolling supply plan and demand forecast.
• Run and improve the monthly S&OP cycle.
• Balance supply against customer demand across a focused product range.
• Build dashboard reporting on stock position, risks and opportunities.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Partner with the planning team to extend the planning horizon.
• Use ERP and Excel to analyse and report planning data.
