Job summary

Sharp & Carter is supporting a global consumer goods manufacturer in Melbourne with a 12 month parental leave cover, starting in December. The Demand and Supply Planner will own forecast accuracy, stock levels and customer service targets for a diverse portfolio, coordinating across production sites, suppliers and co-packers to meet the sales plan.

You will review forecasts across short, mid and long term, manage imports and phase in/outs, maintain planning master data in SAP and IBP, and drive

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in MRP, demand or supply planning.
• Solid inventory management knowledge.
• FMCG or consumer goods experience, ideally in a mid-sized business.
• Strong Excel skills, with SAP and IBP experience a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Own forecast accuracy, stock levels and customer service levels for your portfolio.
• Review the sales forecast in quantity and value across the short, mid and long term.
• Order from production sites, suppliers and co-packers to meet the sales plan.
• Coordinate import activity and follow up deliveries.
• Identify, communicate and resolve supply issues before they impact customers.
• Make sure promotions, launches and delistings are captured accurately in the forecast.
• Prepare data for the bi-monthly reviews and consensus meetings.
• Manage product phase ins, phase outs and slow moving stock.
• Maintain planning master data in SAP and IBP.
• Support process improvement and new supply chain initiatives.
