Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia in Sydney CBD is seeking a Risk Analyst to join our Line 1 Risk Management community, working with Line 1 departments and the Line 2 CRO team to strengthen risk culture and compliance practices. You will design and embed target state operating risk and compliance frameworks, provide coaching and guidance, and support risk reporting and governance outcomes across the Bank.

Qualifications

• Experience strengthening risk management practices in large organisations.
• Understanding of risk and/or compliance frameworks and practices.
• Ability to communicate accountability within a mature Three Lines of Defence model.
• Ability to identify risk and compliance challenges from strategy and operations.
• Knowledge of organisation-wide risk and compliance frameworks and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to design and implementation of target state risk/compliance frameworks, policies and standards.
• Provide coaching, training and guidance to support embedding enhanced risk management.
• Support risk and compliance reporting with meaningful insights for governance outcomes.
• Conduct control testing and assurance activities to assess key controls.
• Manage internal and external relationships to drive risk and compliance outcomes.
