Job summary

Nautitech Mining Systems – Castle Hill NSW is seeking a procurement-focused professional to help purchase components, materials and services for production and operations. You will verify specs, quality and delivery while maintaining records and supplier relationships.

Responsibilities include raising POs in M1, sourcing supplier quotes, monitoring orders and coordinating with Production, Engineering, Warehouse and Finance. Familiarity with M1 ERP and Excel is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Some experience in purchasing, procurement or supply coordination.
• Experience using an ERP or purchasing system and Excel.
• Able to work with production, engineering, warehouse and finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with purchase requests and stock availability with Production, Engineering and Warehouse teams.
• Assist with supplier quotations, considering price, lead times and terms.
• Raise accurate purchase orders in M1 and confirm supplier delivery dates.
• Monitor outstanding orders and follow up overdue deliveries.
• Coordinate ordering against production schedules to reduce shortages and excess stock.
• Verify part numbers and specifications before ordering; refer substitutions for approval.
• Work with Quality to resolve short deliveries or damaged goods.
• Maintain supplier records, pricing, and lead times in M1.
• Assist Accounts with PO discrepancies to ensure payments.
• Identify improvements to purchasing processes and supplier performance.
