Job summary

Marr Contracting is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join its Supply Chain, Procurement and Logistics team based in Sefton, Sydney. You will lead end-to-end sourcing for the crane fleet, workshops and project operations, partnering with operations, engineering, finance and HSEQ to ensure the right suppliers, materials and services are in place to support safe, on-time delivery.

Qualifications

Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or senior buyer positions.
Experience sourcing goods and services and managing supplier relationships.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability.
Experience using ERP or purchasing systems.
Experience within construction, engineering, manufacturing, heavy equipment, industrial services or project environments will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

End-to-end sourcing and procurement activities.
Supplier identification, evaluation and performance management.
Commercial analysis and negotiation of favourable supply agreements.
Managing purchase orders and procurement processes through to delivery.
Supporting procurement governance, compliance and risk management.
Building strong internal stakeholder and supplier relationships.
Identifying opportunities to improve value, reduce costs and strengthen supply continuity.
Supporting procurement initiatives across Australia and broader global operations where required.
