Job summary

NEPEAN is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to lead the purchasing process across our engineering, mining services and industrial manufacturing divisions, from supplier selection to stock optimisation.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics or a related field, proven purchasing experience, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and SCM software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field.
• Proven purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management experience.
• Experience with supply chain management software and tools.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Plan for the purchase of equipment, services and supplies. Research, evaluate and maintain a database of qualified suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and terms to achieve cost reductions while maintaining quality and strong supplier relationships.
• Process purchase orders, track orders, monitor stock levels, and ensure procurement policy compliance.
