Job summary

Yates is seeking a Purchasing & Material Planner at Mt Druitt, one of the group's largest manufacturing sites, to ensure production stays on track. You will transform the production plan into actions, raise purchase orders on time and keep materials flowing across Australia and New Zealand.

You'll work hands-on with the Production Planner, manage around 3,000 SKUs in Australia and 1,000 in New Zealand, build strong relationships, and bring fresh ideas to improve our processes.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of experience in supply chain, procurement or planning.
• Manufacturing experience with complex product ranges is desirable.
• SAP experience is highly regarded; training available on site if needed.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Turn production plan into action by raising purchase orders on time.
• Spot missing components early and keep raw materials, packaging and bulk flowing to site.
• Collaborate across the site with production and other teams to solve problems and implement ideas.
