Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Production Planner for its Dee Why site (North Sydney). You will manage the daily, weekly and monthly production plan, coordinating with the factory floor.

Strong Excel skills are essential, and SAP experience is highly regarded to optimize workflow and production efficiency. The role requires effective coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery, adherence to plans, and optimal scheduling across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning within manufacturing.
• Proficient in Excel; SAP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate and interpret the plans for the system and coordinate daily production planning meetings.
• Manage machine planning activities within own area and maintain workflow across factories.
• Ensure plans meet specifications, quality, safety, and cost standards.
• Establish schedule and issue machine schedules to manufacturing floor.
• Issue Journey Cards/Tickets to Process Owners and Team Leaders.
• Collaborate with production to deliver plan and resolve workflow constraints.
• Coordinate and manage WIP levels for the area per targets.
• Maintain and update production plan to track monthly output.
• Serve as the contact for commercial production progress in own area.
• Develop and maintain schedule adherence measures for key machines.
• Provide backup coverage in other product areas as needed.
• Aim to achieve Monthly SOP Plan.
