Job summary

Siemens Energy Australia is seeking a Project Procurement Buyer to shape how procurement is run for our Australian projects. You will connect suppliers, drive smart commercial decisions, and ensure efficient processes to impact operating profit across Macquarie Park and beyond.

You will lead end-to-end procurement, align with global commodity experts, and collaborate with project managers, commercial teams, and requisitioners to deliver materials and services on time.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in procurement, contract management or project procurement.
• Experience in contract negotiations and claim management.
• Ability to develop procurement strategies for projects.
• Qualify and evaluate suppliers; create contracts and RFX/eAuctions.
• Represent procurement in international teams; SAP experience noted.

Responsibilities

• Shape and implement project-specific procurement strategies with local and global alignment.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement from vendor selection to supplier performance management.
• Lead commodity kick-offs and negotiation strategies; document outcomes.
• Collaborate with project managers, commercial teams and requisitioners to meet needs.
• Monitor Budgets and market trends; share performance updates with stakeholders.
• Address procurement risks in SUPERIS; uphold policies and nurture supplier relations.
